Terms of Service
Thank you for entering the Teon world. Based on the principle of maintaining a long-term stable and fair gaming environment, we (Lakoo Games, hereinafter referred to as “we”) ask players to carefully read the following Terms of Service and follow them while playing in the Teon world. By creating a game character and entering Teon, players are deemed to have agreed to the following Terms of Service. [Account Security]

1. Teon uses Google accounts for login. Our server cannot distinguish whether the login behavior of an account that has passed Google verification is done by the owner.
2. We strongly recommend that players strengthen the security settings of their Google account used for logging into the Teon world. Players can learn about account security settings through the “Google Account Security Notice” on the official website (teon.lakoo.com).
3. We strongly recommend that players enable two-step verification.
4. Every payment for downloading Teon can only be used for logging in with one Google account.
5. Player game history is only kept for the last 90 days. Any history older than 90 days will be deleted and cannot be enquired.
6. On the same server, the maximum number of logins from the same IP is 5. If the number of logins exceeds 5, we will freeze all accounts. For less serious cases, the account will be frozen for 7 days, and for more serious cases, the account will be permanently frozen.
7. The account password represents the right to use the account. The password used for the player’s account cannot be given to another player for any reason. If a player discloses their password to a third party, it means that they have transferred the right to use the account to the third party, and the player is wholly responsible for any loss of the account or game items caused by this behaviour!

[Naming of Game Characters]

The name in the game is initially just a form of address, but as you progress in the game, it will not only be a title, but also represent a person’s character, reputation, and abilities. Please use this privilege carefully and let your name follow you to write a beautiful chapter in your game journey.
Although nicknames, clan names, and other names can be chosen by players, in order to maintain cleanliness and harmony in the game world, we do not allow names that include, but not limited to: gender discrimination, racial discrimination, religion, obscenity, vulgarity, defamation, threats, offensive, insulting, potentially misleading, prohibited drugs, etc.
In special circumstances (such as deliberately violating the game rules by using a name similar to another player’s), after verifying the behavior, the account will be locked and punished.

[About Trading]

1. We will not actively intervene in the trading of coins or items from legitimate sources, both inside and outside the game.
2. We do not advocate players to trade game coins or items with real money or items outside the game.
3. If players insist on trading outside the game, they will bear all the risks and losses caused by this behaviour. We do not participate in resolving any disputes between players arising from transactions outside the game.
4. If the content of in-game and out-of-game transactions involves malicious exploitation of loopholes, we will trace the transaction and recover any abnormal gains.
5. We do not provide services for enquiring game history or other data. If players need to take legal action and apply for access to game history as evidence, please contact us through the email associated with the character and provide a color photo of the evidence documents and identification documents.

[Game Master (GM)]

1.Game Master Name List: TeonGM01~TeonGM10; GM01~GM99. Any characters claiming to be GMs outside this list are fake, players are welcome to report them.
2.GM names are either in special yellow or pure black color.
3.No GM will ask for players’ account passwords or any other information in the game, forums, or any other means. Please do not be deceived.
4.No GM or our colleagues will sell gold, equipment, or items inside or outside the game. Anyone selling gold, equipment, or items in the name of GM or the official team are scammers, players are welcome to report them.

[Game PK Rules]

In the world of Teon, eliminating opponents (i.e. PKing your enemies or other players) is considered part of the game and not considered harassment.
In the game, players need to switch to PK mode in order to PK other players. When a player successfully kills another player, the system will keep a record and affect the player’s justice value. At the same time, there are also safe zones where PK is prohibited. We do not advocate or oppose players seeking revenge in the game world.
However, in extreme or excessively harassing situations, please contact a GM for assistance and the situation will be handled accordingly.

[Prohibited Behaviors in Teon]

Behaviors not allowed in chat channels:
1. Posting messages about trading virtual items for real money outside the game.
2. Repeatedly sending highly similar messages that cause annoyance and complaints from other players.
3. Sending messages that include but are not limited to: discrimination, religion, obscenity, defamation, threats, aggression, insults, and banned drugs.
4. Using the text color change system to disguise as system messages, causing players to misunderstand, such as pretending to be a message about a monster dropping treasure.
5. Impersonating the official team, spreading rumors, and attempting to disrupt the game environment.
6. Spreading any information unrelated to the world of Teon that causes annoyance and complaints from other players.

Other prohibited behaviors:
1. Impersonating a GM, engaging in fraud, spreading rumors, etc. for personal gain.
2. Promoting unofficial Teon player clients, hacking tools, methods, etc. (hacking tools include key macros, physical assistant clickers, etc.).
3. Maliciously exploiting game bugs for profit, affecting the fairness of the game world.
4. Using unofficially released programs to cheat, including but not limited to: automatic monster killing, automatic leveling, automatic potion consumption, automatic quest completion, accelerated walking, etc., actions that go beyond the reasonable scope of the game design.
If a player engages in any of the above behaviors and it is confirmed, we will take the following actions depending on the situation:
Forced log out
Temporary ban of the entire account or ban of certain characters
Forced change of character name
Recovery of items and money
Permanent ban of the entire account or ban of certain characters

[Requests Not Accepted by Teon]

1. Players requesting to recover virtual property lost due to their own carelessness, such as not carefully checking the items during a trade when the game trading system was functioning normally.
2. Players requesting to recover virtual property lost due to offline transactions.
3. Players unreasonably requesting to unlock an account that was locked due to violating the Teon player code of conduct. Players can check the reason for the lock, cooperate with the official team for review, and make a reasonable appeal to unlock the account.
4. Players requesting to recover virtual property lost due to normal game settings, such as failed equipment enhancements, character death and loss of items, loss of experience, etc.
5. Players requesting to recover virtual property lost due to believing rumors. Please refer to official website information for any messages and do not believe rumors.
6. Falsifying false information, attempting to deceive official administrators, and obtaining benefits.

[Changes and Interruptions to Game Services]

1. We have the right to produce, add, change, delete, maintain, preserve, secure, and interpret the content of game services provided in order to maintain order and gameplay within the game. Additionally, in order to provide a complete game service, we may change the service according to operational or technical needs.
2. When changing the service according to the first item, we will announce the relevant content within the game service before the change.
3. In order to provide satisfactory service to users who have applied for the service, we may set or change (update) individual software, security software, payment packages, etc. without the additional consent of the user. However, when installing software unrelated to the service, such as advertising software, we must inform the user and obtain prior consent.
4. In the event of a transfer of business, division, merger, suspension of business, expiration of contract for providing games, poor management of game services, or difficulty in continuing game services, all services may be interrupted. In such cases, we will announce the interruption of game services, the date of interruption, the reason for interruption, and compensation conditions on the game service webpage at least 30 days in advance. In the event of an unavoidable situation where prior notice is not possible, we may notify game service users after the event..
5. We are not responsible for any expected but unrealized losses incurred by users due to changes or interruptions in service, or for any losses incurred by users where the benefits are not directly provided from the company (including but not limited to benefits obtained through participation in activities).

[Limitation of Liability]

In no event, whether or not we have been informed of the damage, and regardless of whether the lawsuit is based on contract, infringement of intellectual property rights, tort, negligence, or other claims, we are not responsible for any incidental damages, indirect damages, punitive damages, statutory damages, fixed damages, expected benefits, or special damages arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, any other person or group’s lawsuit, or any loss, damage, lawsuit, claim, or other proceedings. You agree not to file any lawsuits that are inconsistent with the above limitation of liability. Some of the above limitations of liability may not be allowed in certain jurisdictions, and if any court deems that the laws of such jurisdiction should apply, we shall be exempted to the maximum extent permitted by law.

[Important Notice]

We reserve the right to modify these “Terms of Service” according to the development and needs of the Teon world. When modifying the “Terms of Service”, we will announce the changes on the official Teon game homepage without individually notifying players. Please pay attention to the announcements on the official homepage.

These “Terms of Service” will take effect on January 1, 2023.
